Behind Enemy Lines in the Final Four

Yo, this is Nicky the Fish and we’re back in the thick of the action that is the Final Four. We’re coming off a 3-1 Elite 8 weekend and thank the teasers for keep us ahead of the book, and now there are only 3 games left so let’s get to it. Firstly, our strategy this week will be to tease both the dogs as a hedge and then play the favorites to win individually. The dogs may have only have a 1-game lead in the tournament thus far but the odds makers may have been right on the money and the extra 4 or 5 points with the tease would have you well up for the tournament as a whole. That said, we’re going to tease Wisconsin up to 10 points vs. Kentucky and Michigan State up to 11 against Duke and then hedge with the favs (Duke -5.5 buy the hook) and (UK -4.5 buy the hook) on straight bets. We’re always afraid of a back-door cover when it comes time to fouling to save face but I don’t think we’re going to see it in these games. The only thing that really scares me is the Wildcats free-throw shooting, I hope that doesn’t take any food off our table, but that’s the chowda’ I’m Nicky, stay in the ring and keep your gloves up!
