Behind Enemy Lines in MLB

Hey this is Nicky, and we’ve been on vacation but we had better get back into the swing of things as the NFL and NCAA are right around the corner so let’s get to it. In MLB I love the Rangers (-145) to beat the injury riddled Red Sox who just might melt in the Texas heat. It should be over 100 degrees by game time and with no Youk or Big Papi the Sox will have some issues scoring runs against Colby Lewis. Ok, that’s the late evening chowder, stay in the ring and keep your gloves up!

Beind enemy lines in the MLB pennant race

Yo this is Nicky and it’s time to get involved in the pennant races. I realize is going to be some tough sledding but life favors the bold so let’s get to it. The Pirates have had hit the slump that many expected them to as it looks like they’re running out of gas, winners of only two of their last ten and six straight. I know we’re trying to catch the falling knife here but they’ve got a stretch coming up where they play both division leaders (Giants/Brewers) and two series with the Cards so they know they had better get the Cubs and Padres. I like the Pirates (-150) with McDonald on the bump to beat Chitown as I have no faith in Lopez (2-3). That’s the chowder, I’m Nicky, stay in the ring and keep your gloves up!
