Behind Enemy Lines

Feeling good too Louis! That’s the best way ole Nick can describe getting off the 0 for 4 slide with Justin Verlander and the Tigers yesterday over the Mets. But today is a new day and we’ll head to the Windy City for my Fantastic Friday
Feature. It’s North-Siders vs. South-Siders at Wrigley and the White Sox with Edwin Jackson are the call. A slight favorite right now at -113 Jackson has never beaten the Cubs. But he did throw very well in his last start versus the Nats last Friday tossing seven scoreless innings, although Chicago lost. Here is what I like. The Cubs are coming off back to back emotional walk-off wins over the Giants, including Thursday’s 13 inning affair. They’ll be spent, and starter Randy
Wells has a 5.25 era in two starts against the White Sox. In his last start Sunday against Kansas City, he gave up 10 hits and six runs in just six innings of work. If that doesn’t convince ya, the Cubs have won two games in a row eight times this season. They’ve also lost the chance to win three straight all eight times.
