A funny thing happened on the way to the ticket window……

Wow, I was basking in my own brilliance, winner of 7 soon to be 8 straight correct picks as DWayde canned a 45th & Main corner jumper for 3, pushing the lead to 15 with just over 7 minutes to go. I decided it would help me relax and enjoy the final minutes if I grabbed a Makers rocks and chilled. By the time I got back to my seat it was 11, Dallas ball and I’ll stop short of going through the rest of the game with you but rest assured, if we had not built such a huge stake by going on the seven win run, I would have tasted that Maker’s twice. Needless to after a tough beat it’s tough to get back in the saddle but let’s get to it. Ok, I am going to bank on the fact that the Heat have had three days to lament on the worst loss in NBA Finals history and will be ready to play in game 3. Everyone by now has heard or read the stat about in the 3-2-3 era the when they split the first two games the winner of game 3 has WON EVERY SERIES. Spoelstra is a numbers guy, and I know he’s thinking about it, and I KNOW Sir Patrick knows about it, and the Heat will make amends and win this game. The fact that I’m getting 2.5 makes me feel even better, and the fact that Stevenson is a game-time decision and even if he does suit up will not be 100%. I’m ready to order another…ok, let’s not go that far but I like this pick. That’s the chowder, I’m Nicky, stay in the ring and keep your gloves up!
