Behind Enemy Lines on Super Bowl Sunday

Well after months in the trenches we’ve finally come to the end of a long road. At the beginning of the season we set the bar very high based on our record last year and I’m proud to say despite that terrible start we hit just over 70% of our picks this season (71.35%) and I hope you spoke of me well as you were toasting. Ok, I’m getting a sore shoulder from patting myself on the back so let’s get to desert, which is the Super Bowl.
On Super Sunday I am going to take the Pittsburgh Steelers (+3.5 buy the Hook) in a game that should be very close, unless the top-rated defense in the NFL finds a way to stop the rookie from running like he has in his two previous playoff games then it could be ugly for Green Bay. All stats go out the window for the Bowl as with 2 weeks to prepare most teams can completely scheme a game plan to get them through 60 minutes but I like the way Pitt has been playing lately winners of 8 of 9 and may have had their bad game in the AFC Championship game. The Pack have also hit their stride in the playoffs and are winners of five straight but a 4th consecutive road win seems to be where the breaking point comes although I’d like to seem them put the whole “Favre legend” to rest, but it’s not going to happen today.
That’s the final bowl of chowder, I’m Nicky, thanks for taking the ride, stay in the ring and keep your gloves up! And I’ll be back for the NBA next week!
