Behind Enemy Lines on Championship Sunday

Yo, this is Nicky and we took a touch loss last week to de-real an almost perfect NFL post season but we still went 3-1 for the weekend and there are 3 more to go so let’s get to it. In the early game I’m going to take the road dog in the early game and buy the pack down to -3.5 and play for a 21-17 type game. I know it’s tough to win three consecutive road games but it’s also important to ride into the playoffs with the right momentum and the Packers have had to play 4 straight playoff games in that regard and have answered the call in all of them. AR is playing as well as any QB still left in the tournament and the Packers are no strangers to the cold weather. I will break out some stats for this one as it is their third matchup of the season. Although Chicago is 8-2 over their last 10 they’re 2-4 when playing the Pack and 4-13 vs. the Pack at Soldier Field. That’s the early game chowder, I’m Nicky, back with the AFC Championship in a bit.

In the Late Game I’m going to go the other way and finally see a home team (Steelers -3, buy the hook) finally take care of business against a team they should beat in these playoffs. Pittsburgh has been waiting for this day for quite some time and the added momentum of only having to beat a Jets team at home as opposed to going on the road at New England should provide the added mo’ necessary. The Steelers are 7-1 in their last 8 games (4-1 at home) and they will be the one team that takes advantage of the hard work they put in all season to earn the privilege. That’s the Championship Day chowder, I’m Nicky, stay in the ring, and keep your gloves up!
