Behind Enemy Lines in the NFL playoffs

Yo this is Nicky, coming off another bowl victory running our winning streak to six straight and now it’s time to take on the NFL playoffs with four wild card games over the weekend. Now that we’re in ‘championship season’ there is not picking n’ choosin’ our games we just got to step into the ring and win more than we lose so let’s get to it.

On Saturday the first game I am NOT going to take the bait or buy into the upset propaganda that the SeaChickens have a shot of winning this game, but I am always afraid of the backdoor cover when laying that much lumber, just the same I’m taking the Saints (-10 buy the hook, or the point depending when you got in). I understand that all stats go out the window come playoff time but the Saints are 5-1 their last six games on the road and Seattle is not a good home cover team at 2-5 ATS, and quite frankly the Saints dominate in every statistical category.

In the late game on Saturday Night I like another road team as I’m going to take the Jets (+3.5 buy that hook for yourself) to go into Indy against a very beaten up Colts team and get a win to set up a rematch with the Pats. It’s hard not to make this out to be a Peyton vs. Sanchez matchup but if it is, then Peyton has one arm tied behind his back as his favorite receivers will be wearing as many pads as I will and that will make the difference. The Jets can run the ball and their shut down corners will make Peyton’s job even more difficult. That’s the late game chowder, I’m Nicky, stay in the ring and keep your glove’s up!
